Kerala:  Tehri BJP MLA Kishore Upadhyay’s brother’s wife arrested in Kochi; Nazia Yusuf is accused in several fraud cases

Kerala/Dehradun: Tehri BJP MLA Kishore Upadhyay’s brother’s wife has been arrested in Kochi. Nazi Yusuf is the wife of Sachin Upadhyay. She was wanted by the police in a number of cases, including multi-crore, government and non-government land scams. Nazia Yusuf, who was absconding, was arrested from Kochi airport in Kerala.

The investigating agencies had issued a lookout notice against the Nazis. Based on this, the police took her into custody from the Kochi airport on Wednesday (May 25) at 10.30 pm. Dehradun police said they had received indications that the Nazia was trying to leave the country. Investigation team from dehradun has been sent to Kochi. Most Probably on saturday team is expected to come back to Dehradun.
