Rishikesh: On Sunday, July 12, 2026, the Rishikesh Yuva Foundation (RYF) organized a grand event titled ‘Medhavi Samman Sangam – 2’ at the Brahmalin Mahant Ashok Prapann Sharma Auditorium, Shri Bharat Mandir Public School, Jhanda Chowk, Rishikesh. Approximately 250 meritorious students who excelled in CBSE and ICSE board examinations, along with their parents, were honored during the event. A large number of students, parents, and distinguished citizens attended the program.

The event commenced with a pledge for environmental conservation. All students and their parents took a collective oath to protect the environment and plant as many trees as possible. They were also urged to actively participate in nature conservation and the creation of a clean environment. The chief guest, Mahant Vatsal Prapann Sharma, honored the meritorious students and remarked that education is the strongest foundation for the development of society and the nation. He advised students to move forward with continuous hard work, discipline, and strong values ​​so that they could bring glory to their families, society, and the country.

Jayendra Ramola, the Foundation’s patron and event coordinator, stated that the Foundation has a history of honoring not only meritorious children but also their parents, acknowledging that the sacrifice, hard work, and guidance of parents play the most crucial role in a child’s success. Therefore, honoring parents serves as an inspiration to society. Foundation President Deepak Gonyal and General Secretary Sagar Garg affirmed that the Rishikesh Yuva Foundation would continue to honor promising and talented students in the future, aiming to inspire other youths through these achievements and encourage them to excel in the field of education. The event concluded with best wishes for the bright future of all the honored students and a resolve for their active participation in nation-building. Finally, Satakshi Sharma—a promising daughter of Rishikesh selected as a DSP—was honored by being presented with a shawl; in her address, she extended her best wishes for the future of all the promising students.
