Rishikesh: (Manoj Rautela) If you wish to witness true spirituality—if you seek to behold *Tap* (penance), *Tapasya* (asceticism), and *Sadhana* (spiritual practice) in their purest forms—then come to Uttarakhand.  This hilly State is called Central Himalayas also. Here, you will have the privilege of a direct, personal sighting (*Sakshat Darshan*). Yes, indeed—here in the “Land of the Gods” (*Devbhumi*), Uttarakhand, nestled amidst the mountains and along the banks of the holy Ganges, resides a great saint who is subjecting himself to intense heat during this scorching summer season. He is engaged in profound spiritual practice and asceticism with a singular objective: the preservation of world peace, the welfare of humanity, and the prayer that the Divine continues to shower its blessings upon all people.

Throughout the rest of the year, this great  Saint  travels extensively abroad.  By meeting people from various nations face-to-face, he serves as a living ambassador, proudly hoisting the banner of *Hindutva*. Upholding the principles of *Sanatan Dharma* (the Eternal Way) as paramount, he engages with people from diverse countries, faiths, and spiritual traditions. However, from January through May, he remains seated in deep asceticism within the confines of his ashram—a practice known as *Panchagni Sadhana*. During this ritual, sacred fires are kindled in pits positioned on all four sides, with Maharaj Shri seated right in the center. What follows is a magnificent sequence of spiritual acts involving the chanting of mantras, *Japa* (repetition of divine names), meditation, and worship—a spectacle that draws crowds of devotees eager to witness it. Yet, this entire process is conducted with strict discipline; during this period, he neither speaks nor converses with anyone, communicating solely through gestures. His assistants serve as intermediaries, helping devotees understand his gestures and convey their own thoughts to him.

Throughout this time, hundreds of devotees from both within India and abroad flock to this sacred site to engage in spiritual practice, perform Yoga, gain spiritual insights, and depart with the blessings of Maharaj Shri. A divine International Yoga and Kundalini Kriya Yoga Festival recently concluded at Swami Samarpan Ashram, Tapovan, held under the auspices of the Samarpan School of Yoga and Tantra. In this sacred festival, seekers and devotees from various countries across the globe—such as Spain, Argentina, Germany, Austria, the USA, France, Australia, Ukraine, and Russia—participated in large numbers. Thus, the Ashram has transformed into a hub of global spiritual convergence, where seekers from diverse cultures are experiencing a sense of unity through the practice of yoga. This spiritual endeavor is being guided by the ascetic *Avadhut* Guru, Shri Swami Samarpananand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, who is conducting the spiritual practices in accordance with the ancient Indian tradition of yoga. Notably, during this event, Yogini Anamika—a very close disciple of Guruji—has been actively contributing to the festival by organizing and leading various programs. Her dedication and spiritual discipline have infused the entire event with a unique energy and sense of discipline. According to Maharaj Shri: “India has always been a *Vishwa Guru* (Global Teacher) and, through this divine tradition of yoga, is once again capable of providing direction to the world. Yoga is not limited merely to physical exercises or *asanas*; rather, it is a complete art of living. It establishes a balance between *Samsara* (worldly life) and spirituality. Yoga offers us a path to discover our true inner self, our potential, and the divine love that resides within us. It is a science that leads to self-realization, peace, and universal unity. In the modern era, yoga is not merely a tradition, but a necessity for both the present and the future. Come, let us embrace yoga—as a beautiful, universal science that paves the way for global peace, love, and harmony.”
