Mumbai Police orders actor Imran Khan to leave the country
Mumbai : Actor Imran Khan, who is Aamir Khan’s nephew, does not hold Indian citizenship; instead, he is an American citizen. He possesses an American passport as well as an OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) card. He was born on January 13, 1983, in Madison, Wisconsin, USA.
Imran Khan had participated in a protest held at Mumbai’s August Kranti Maidan, where demands were raised for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. He was also taken into custody by the police during the protest. The Mumbai Police has now issued a notice directing him to leave India by October 28.
