Bathinda: Akali leader and former Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal has attacked the Aam Aadmi Party. In a street meeting organized in favor of Akali-BSP candidate Sarup Singla from Bathinda seat at the residence of Akali leader Chamkaur Singh Mann in the area across the lines, former Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that AAP’s convener Arvind Kejriwal’s thinking is anti-Punjab. Its purpose is to snatch the water of Punjab, to shut down the thermals.

Amidst the elections in Punjab, a period of accusations has started. In such a situation, the government of Akali Dal is no longer in Punjab and Harsimrat Kaur is considered a big leader of Badal Akali Dal. She was a Union Minister in the Modi government, Harsimrat had resigned due to the farmers’ movement. She said that Punjab does not need a Chief Minister like Charanjit Singh Channi or Bhagwant Mann. Appealing to cast vote for Sarup Singla, Harsimrat Badal said that he will solve all the problems of the people. Sarup Singla assured the people that he would be present at all times in the service of the people of Bathinda. Akali leaders Mohit Gupta, Iqbal Singh Babli Dhillon, Daljit Singh Brar, Yadvinder Yadi, Bibi Joginder Kaur, Bibi Balwinder Kaur, Anjana Rani and other members were present on the occasion.
