Joshimath/Chamoli: Indian Air Force Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary reached Jyotirpeeth Joshimath this afternoon and had darshan of Lord Shri Narasimha Badri. Along with him, family members and senior officers of the Air Force also came for darshan.

The Air Chief Marshal reached Shri Nrisingh Temple Joshimath at 4.30 pm from the Army Helipad, where Sub-District Magistrate Joshimath/Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) Deputy Chief Executive Officer Kumkum Joshi received the Air Chief Marshal. After this, Air Chief Marshal Shri Nrisingh went to visit the temple and participated in the special worship of Lord Nrisingh Badri. Narasimha temple priest Hanuman Prasad Dimri recited the Swasthya and got the special puja performed.

On behalf of the temple committee, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Kumkum Joshi presented the Prasad of Lord Shri Narasimha to the Air Chief Marshal. BKTC media in-charge Dr. Harish Gaur said that the Air Chief Marshal also visited Durga Temple, Shri Timundiya Veer Temple, etc. Guru Shankaracharya Gaddi Sthal near the Narasimha Temple complex. Air Chief Marshal remained in the darshan and puja program at Shri Narasimha temple till 5 pm.
On this occasion, Chief Administrative Officer Girish Chauhan, Senior Administrative Officer Vijendra Bisht, Administrative Officer Kuldeep Bhatt, Shri Nrisingh Temple in-charge Sandeep Kaparwan etc. were present.
