Gonda :  Upon being acquitted in the sexual harassment case, former MP and former Wrestling Federation of India President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh said, “I do not consider myself guilty. I never did—neither at the beginning nor later—because I knew the truth about myself, and what I believed has now been vindicated. These allegations were false; it was a calculated conspiracy involving several political parties in the country. It ceased to be a movement by athletes and turned into a purely opposition-led movement. Today, I have received a clean chit from the judiciary; I was never under stress, nor am I now…”

He further added, “There is a reason behind everything. It is not just me; there are thousands of people across the country facing such allegations. This has become a trend today… This will give people the strength to realize that if they face false accusations, they need to fight back rather than be afraid.”
