UK: Ravi Tamta from Almora Develops Flying Vehicle; CM Dhami Extends Congratulations
Almora: Ravi Tamta, a resident of Almora in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, has achieved a remarkable feat by successfully conducting a trial flight with a self-built, single-seater flying vehicle named “Hapida Skynex,” showcasing his innovation and technical prowess. This unique device is powered entirely by electricity, making it an excellent example of eco-friendly and modern technology. Developed with limited resources, this flying vehicle has generated excitement and curiosity across the country.
District Magistrate Anshul Singh and Senior Superintendent of Police Chandrashekhar R. Ghodke were present during the trial flight held at the Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Stadium in Almora. In their presence, Ravi Tamta successfully flew the “Hapida Skynex,” bringing his innovation to life. All necessary safety standards were observed, and the entire process was conducted under the supervision of the administration. The design and manufacturing process of the “Hapida Skynex” also drew significant attention. This electric-powered device represents a significant step towards the clean and sustainable technology of the future.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami spoke to Ravi Tamta via video call and described the achievement as historic. He stated that this innovation serves as an inspiration for the state’s youth and opens up new possibilities in the fields of science and technology. Appreciating Ravi Tamta’s efforts, the Chief Minister assured him of all possible support to further advance his innovations. District Magistrate Anshul Singh termed the achievement a matter of pride for the district, noting that such innovations provide a platform for local talent and inspire young people to move forward with a fresh perspective. He stated that all possible assistance would be provided by the administration to encourage innovation.
