Delhi/Dehradun: On the day the portals of Kedarnath Dham opened, Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again expressed his profound faith in Baba Kedar. Late on Wednesday evening, the Prime Minister released a series of evocative photographs via social media, capturing moments he had previously spent on the sacred land of Baba Kedar. Prime Minister Modi shared memories of his past stays in Kedarnath through images posted on the social media platform, Facebook. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that the Prime Minister’s act of sharing these photographs serves as an expression of the spiritual bond he shares with this Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva and with this sacred land of penance. From Kedarnath Dham—a confluence of devotion, asceticism, and faith—this heartfelt message from the Prime Minister is touching the hearts of millions of devotees.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami remarked that, from a spiritual perspective, this message from the Prime Minister not only serves as guidance for millions of fellow citizens but also establishes the Char Dham Yatra as a journey of spiritual awakening. The resounding chant of “Har Har Mahadev” echoing through the abode of Baba Kedar has become even more poignant following this expression of faith by the Prime Minister, and the fervor of devotion among devotees across the country is reaching new heights. In an earlier message, the Prime Minister had described the Char Dham Yatra as the foundation of India’s cultural unity. He urged pilgrims to experience inner peace by observing a “digital fast” and to commit themselves to five resolutions: cleanliness, environmental conservation, selfless service, “Vocal for Local,” and discipline.
