Delhi: Draupadi Murmu will become the great President of the country, PM Modi said on NDA candidate

New Delhi : Prime MInister Narendra  Modi tweeted on NDA presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu that she will become a great President of the country. Earlier, the opposition had finalized the name of former Union Minister Yashwant Sinha. NDA’s Presidential Candidate Draupadi Murmu said – Surprised to hear her name, but happy.

NDA has approved the name of former Jharkhand governor and tribal leader Draupadi Murmu as its presidential candidate. Earlier, the opposition had finalized the name of former Union Minister Yashwant Sinha. Shortly after BJP National President JP Nadda’s announcement of NDA candidate, PM Narendra Modi tweeted that Draupadi Murmu will become a great President of the country.

Earlier, BJP President Jayaprakash Nadda formally announced the NDA’s presidential candidate through a press conference. Many big leaders including PM Modi, Amit Shah had a meeting in the long brainstorming. In which the name of Draupadi Murmu was unanimously finalized. Draupadi Murmu has been the Governor of Jharkhand. Murmu, who is called a tribal leader, hails from Odisha and has been a minister in the BJD government. After the seal of Draupadi Murmu’s name, now the chances of NDA getting the support of Biju Janata Dal in the elections have increased a lot.

What did PM Modi say-
PM Modi tweeted about NDA’s presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu. The PM wrote, “Draupadi Murmu ji dedicated her life to the service of the society and empowering the poor, downtrodden as well as marginalized people. She has rich administrative experience and has had an excellent tenure. I believe that She will be a great President of our country.” PM Modi further wrote, “Millions of people, especially those who have experienced poverty and faced hardships, draw a lot of strength from Draupadi Murmu ji’s life. Her understanding and compassionate nature in policy matters has helped our country. would be of great benefit.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted, “Today is a very important moment for the country, when the NDA led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and headed by JP Nadda ji has announced Mrs. Draupadi Murmu ji for the post of President. The decision will work to take tribal pride to new heights. I congratulate Modi ji for this.” Yashwant Sinha will be the opposition candidate for the President.
