US Nagar: Chief Minister  Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday reached Udayraj Hindu Inter College premises and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of schemes worth about Rs.11710.50 lakh. In which 11 schemes costing Rs 3741.10 lakh were inaugurated and 17 schemes costing Rs 7969.4 lakh were laid.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami while addressing the gathering said that all possible efforts are being made by the State Government to take development to the last mile. He said that Prime Minister Modi ji has also said that the third decade will be the decade of Uttarakhand. CM Dhami said that when the state would be celebrating the silver jubilee of its foundation day, then the state government was trying to make the state an excellent and ideal state in all fields. Ideas are being taken from intellectuals to make the state excellent and ideal. Bodhisattva series is being run for the consideration of intellectuals. Uttarakhand will be made an excellent and leading state in the fields of education, medicine, industry, horticulture, agriculture, employment etc. by 2025. For which blue print is being taken from the intellectuals as well as the departments. Chief Minister Dhami said that Vikas Yatra is not an individual journey, it is a collective journey. He said that everyone would have to work together to give wings to the young dreams of a young state. He said that the government is working as an ally of the people. He said that Rs 355 has been fixed for early variety of sugarcane and Rs 345 for common variety, which has increased by Rs 29.50 per quintal. The fare has been reduced from Rs.11 to Rs.9.50. The closed Sitarganj sugar mill has been started since 2016 and research is going on in the direction of starting Kashipur sugar mill. Work is being done on a single window system for the end of industrial disputes, so that entrepreneurs should not be disturbed. A team has been formed to settle industrial disputes on the basis of one time settlement.

Chief Minister Shri Dhami said that a new sports policy has been brought so that talented players do not have to wander due to lack of facilities. Due to which talented players will not have to worry about food, accommodation and travel to show their ability, ability. Self-help groups should grow rapidly and more and more employment opportunities should be available.

In the program, Cabinet Minister Swami Yatishwaranand, MLA  Harbhajan Singh Cheema, District President BJP Shiv Arora, Ram Mehrotra also addressed the public. Mayor Usha Chaudhary, Chairperson SC Commission Mukesh Kumar, Vice-Chairman Women’s Commission  Shayra Bano, Former MP Balraj Pasi, Former MLA  Rajiv Agarwal, Dr. Shailendra Mohan Singhal, Chief Development Officer Ashish Bhatgai were present in the program.
