So that justice can be done to the bereaved families.”

According to the statement, “Based on strong intelligence received about the armed insurgents, the operation was carried out by the security forces in Tiru area of Mon district. The situation after the incident is quite regrettable. The unfortunate deaths of people are being investigated at the highest level and appropriate action will be taken as per law. One soldier injured in the incident died.
