Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the team for the 5-match T20 series against the West Indies. 15 players have been given a chance for this series. The captaincy has also been handed over to another Dhurandhar instead of Rohit Sharma.

The Indian team for the series against West Indies was announced on Wednesday night. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) gave a chance to 15 players for this series. Interestingly, Rohit Sharma will not handle the captaincy of Team India. He has been rested from this series. The captaincy has been handed over to Hardik Pandya.

Suryakumar (SKY) became the vice-captain-

The BCCI Senior Men’s Selection Committee selected India’s team for the upcoming 5-match T20I series against West Indies to be played in the Caribbean Islands and Florida (USA). Interestingly, the vice-captaincy of the T20 team has been given to Suryakumar Yadav. Ishaan Kishan and Sanju Samson have got a chance as wicketkeepers. At the same time, Umran Malik, Avesh Khan and Mukesh Kumar have got place as fast bowlers.

India T20 squad for the series: Ishan Kishan (wk), Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Verma, Suryakumar Yadav (vc), Sanju Samson (wk), Hardik Pandya (c), Akshar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik, Avesh Khan and Mukesh Kumar.
