Bengaluru: Its shocking news but its fact….Karnataka police was patrolling in the forest area. Suddenly they saw something that made them stop. They saw a cave and inside that cave there was something that was surprising. When the police officers searched the cave, they found a foreign woman and two children inside. When the police investigated, a shocking revelation came out. This woman, a citizen of Russia, was living here with her two small children for the last eight years. The woman told that they were living like the sages of the Himalayas. The name of the 40-year-old woman is Nina Kutina and she came to India and changed her name to Mohi. She came to India in search of peace and spirituality.
The woman was found in the Ramtirtha hills of Uttara Kannada. She was living in complete isolation. She was surrounded by dense forests and steep mountains. She had no contact with the outside world. There were only her and her two children, six-year-old Preya and four-year-old Ama. Apart from these three, they had a Rudra idol. Which she worshipped. According to the police, she used to spend her day in worship, meditation and spiritual silence. It seemed that she was not affected by the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Her goal was – inner peace. The police said that there was a landslide in the area. They were on patrol to see if anyone had been crushed under the debris in this landslide. They landed in the forest area. They saw a cave. They saw some clothes here, after which they were surprised who could live here. When they went inside, there was a picture of Rudra, which was worshipped. One girl was playing there and another was sleeping. It was here that they saw the Russian woman. Superintendent of Police M Narayan said that the officers were surprised to see how she survived there with two children. It was very difficult considering the area and the recent rains. What was even more shocking was that her visa had expired in 2017 itself. She was hiding here for years and no one had any information about her. Mohi told the police that she loved India, the jungle and meditation. She is sad to be sent back to her country. Kutina first came to India in 2016 on a business visa. Her visa expired on 17 April 2017, so she did not go back. Even after getting an exit permit in 2018 and traveling to Nepal, she returned to India and went to the coastal forests of Karnataka.
Kutina told that both her daughters were born in India. However, she refused to tell anything about the father of the daughters. The police asked her to leave from there but the woman refused. After a lot of effort, she was taken out from there. When the police told her that there is a fear of wild animals here, the woman said that she is not afraid of animals, but of humans. At the same time, when she was told about the fear of snakes, she said that snakes are our friends. We don’t harm them and they don’t harm us either. Mohi told the police that when she used to go to the waterfalls to take bath, snakes used to roam around her, but they never harmed her. Snakes used to come to the cave too but they never harmed us. Mohi had stored food items in the cave, they used to wear less clothes. They used to stay in natural light only. Kutina often took her daughters to Gokarna and other places, but always returned to the cave. She had made a routine with her children. It was about waking up in the morning, doing puja-paath, chanting mantras, meditation and yoga. She used to paint and sing bhajans with the children.
