Rishikesh : Mayor Anita Mamgain took over the command of cleanliness regarding the arrival of His Excellency the President in Rishikesh on 28th November

Rishikesh : The city is being illuminated before the arrival of His Excellency President Ram Nath Kovind in Rishikesh. Municipal Corporation Mayor Anita Mamgain herself has taken over the command of cleanliness.
All the teams of the corporation, under the leadership of Municipal Corporation Mahpour, landed in the adjacent areas of AIIMS on a war footing this morning. On the other hand, the administration has also gathered with promptness regarding the arrival of the President to Rishikesh. It is noteworthy that His Excellency President Ram Nath Kovind will reach Parmarth Niketan across the Ganges along with the family on Sunday afternoon. The city is being illuminated in view of His Majesty’s arrival. During his visit to Parmarth Niketan, His Majesty will participate in various religious rituals as well as the evening Aarti.
Protocol has also been issued regarding the visit of the President. In view of this, the officers have given full strength in the preparations. His Excellency has a program to reach Parmarth Niketan by road from AIIMS Helipad. Before this, he will reach Jolly Grant Airport by special plane. On the other hand, the municipal administration has also intensified the preparations for cleanliness on a war footing regarding the visit of His Majesty. The city’s first civic mayor, Anita Mamgai, is herself taking charge of the cleanliness.
Giving information, the Mayor Anita Mamgain said that complete cleanliness arrangements have been made for the arrival of His Excellency the President in Rishikesh. Road cleaning, patching and paint-painting work is also being done. Dust is being cleared along the dividers of main roads including AIIMS Road. Damaged street lights have also been repaired.
