Rishikesh: 21 corona positives found across the state including two girl students in women’s college in Rishikesh. Corona infection has been confirmed in two girl students of Indira Priyadarshini Mahila College on Tuesday. After the report came, there was a stir in the college administration. The Women’s College has been closed for three days after sanitizing the campus, classrooms and laboratories. Principal in-charge Dr. SD Tiwari informed that all necessary precautionary steps are being taken in the college.
Dr. Tiwari said that on Saturday, there was a sampling of girl students, teachers and staff in the college. On Tuesday morning, two girl students of BA and BSc were reported to be infected by the Health Department. The principal in-charge said that after investigation, these girls did not come to the college. But the college has been closed as a precaution.
Haryana passenger also detected corona positive-
A traveler from Yamunanagar, Haryana, who came to see Neelkanth Mahadev, has turned out to be Corona positive. On Sunday, the RTPCR sample of the passenger was taken by the Health Department team. Covid Nodal Officer Dr. Rajiv Kumar said that on Tuesday, the report of the corona test of the passenger has come positive. After this, the local administration of Yamunanagar has been contacted and information has been given about the matter. RTPCR samples of 338 people have been taken on Tuesday. Here, Kovid Nodal Officer Dr. Jagdish Joshi said that 120 people were tested for corona in Munikireti on Tuesday. Not a single case has come positive so far.
