Ranchi : Dead body of former MLA of Lohardaga Kamal Kishore Bhagat found in house, wife found in unconscious condition
Ranchi : Former MLA of Jharkhand’s Lohardaga Assembly Constituency and senior leader of AJSU Party Kamal Kishore Bhagat has passed away. His body was found in a locked room at his residence in Harmu area of Lohardaga city on Friday afternoon. He was 55 years old. His wife Neeru Bhagat, also found unconscious in the room, has been admitted to RIMS, Ranchi for better treatment.
Kamal Kishor Bhagat became an MLA from Lohardaga Assembly in the year 2009. He lost his membership after being sentenced in one case. Later in the 2014 elections, he once again won from the same constituency. Kamal Kishore Bhagat had been ill for some time, but the cause of his death could not be ascertained.
The people of the house say that Bhagat and his wife were in the same room. When the door of his room did not open even after climbing on Friday, there was doubt. When the family broke the door, he was found dead. His wife was also found unconscious.
