Pithoragarh : Nepal police personnel accused of kidnapping teenager, Women organisations protests
Pithoragarh : Police personnel in Baitdi, Nepal have been accused of kidnapping a 16-year-old girl. Women’s organizations have given a complaint and demanded action against the accused police personnel from the district administration. Women’s organizations and her relatives have filed a case against Havildar Gajendra Bahadur, accusing him of kidnapping a girl from a village in Baitri.
It is alleged that the girl, who went out of the house to learn sewing, was abducted and raped by the police personnel. Nepal Police has started investigation regarding the matter. Baitdi is situated near by Indian district Pithoragarh.
