Pauri/Dehadun:  MLA, Srinagar, and the state’s Medical Health and Medical Education, Higher Education, Cooperation, Protocol, Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Minister, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat along with Pauri District Magistrate Dr. Vijay Kumar Jogdande and concerned officials at Vikas Bhawan on Thursday for the development of his constituency.

Rawat chaired a meeting of the progress of the works. Taking the updated information about the progress of the approved roads in his constituency, the Hon’ble Minister gave necessary directions to expedite the progress of the work. He asked for speedy disposal of pending cases in forest land transfer case. On which the District Magistrate directed the Executive Officer, PWD to complete the work from Tehsil and Linear Department level within a week. Taking information about the development works of Dang Khila, Ijhar, Bharikh, Kwakhara, Dandi Bituldi, Mangalkoti, Pithundi and other villages, he said that he would ensure that there is no negligence in development works. He directed the PWD and the Line Department to expedite the construction of roads and bridges and other works. On the other hand, Divisional Forest Officer Mukesh Kumar was instructed to get the pending case of forest land cleared at the earliest.

Dr. Rawat while giving necessary directions to AMA District Panchayat and District Tourism Development Officer to promote the activities of boating and water sports in Srinagar Lake, said that appropriate action will be completed within 15 days. For which he also gave necessary directions to Chief Development Officer Prashant Arya. Said that boating would be run to promote tourism activity under Dhari Devi and Farasu temple areas. Apart from this, Hon’ble Minister Dr. Rawat listened to the problems of public representatives and villagers who came from the area and gave necessary directions to the officers present on the spot to solve the problem. The AMA directed the District Panchayat that the street lights installed in the area should be rectified immediately. Hon’ble Minister Dr. Rawat gave necessary directions to the concerned officer for speedy distribution of compensation of their land to the people of the area.
