Patna: more than 110 people arrested including a female doctor and 6 engineers drinking alcohol, raid at more than 147 places, more than 100 cases registered

Patna: Police action on prohibition of liquor is going on in Bihar. In such a situation, suddenly there has been a stir due to such action.  A large number of police forces are raiding hotels, bike checking and other places. Within the last 48 hours, Patna Police has arrested more than 110 people in the liquor case and sent them to jail. At the same time, raids were conducted at more than 147 places including urban and rural areas, which lasted till late night. More than 100 cases have been registered in the liquor ban case.

Raids have been conducted in the hotels of Kankarbagh area of ​​Patna. In which 5 youths have been caught having a liquor party from a hotel. After the strong stand of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on the prohibition of liquor, the Patna Police has intensified the process of nabbing the liquor traders and drinkers. After the raids and arrests late on Friday evening, raids were conducted in the capital on Saturday as well. Hotels in the slum area and Kankarbagh were raided and many people have been arrested. After raiding the hotels of Kankarbagh, the doctor couple and 6 engineers were caught by the police with alcohol.
On Saturday, Patna Police raided 11 hotels in Kankarbagh. The police have caught red handed 6 youths who were having a liquor party by hitting them red in the hotel. The police raided the city for the second consecutive day. All the youths are being told as engineers by profession.

Earlier, under the leadership of Digha Police and Subdivision Police, there was a raid for hours on Saturday. In which more than 50 thousand liters of liquor were seized. Dozens of people have been arrested. Several distilleries producing liquor were demolished. Raids were conducted in the slum area Musahari. In Kankarbagh, the police also raided the house of a BSNL employee. The worker has been arrested with a bottle of liquor. Patna Police has killed this raid on the basis of solid information. At the same time, there was a stir in the Kankarbagh police station area when the police started raids late in the evening.

Police has arrested 6 engineers from a hotel with liquor bottles. Everyone had come to attend the procession. It is worth noting that earlier on Friday also, Patna Police had raided hotels and slum areas. During this, 25 people were arrested in the liquor case.
