Pakistan: Massive blast in Karachi’s private bank, 12 killed so far many injured

Karachi/ New Delhi : At least 12 people have been killed in a blast near Parcha Chowk in Pakistan’s Karachi city. Twelve people have been injured in the blast who have been taken to a nearby hospital. The condition of four of the injured is said to be critical. At present, the search and rescue operation is going on and in this case the death toll could be higher.
Police officer Zafar Ali Shah has informed that the blast took place in a drain under a private bank. To whom a notice was given to vacate the premises so that the drain could be cleaned. Shah said the bank building and a nearby petrol pump were damaged in the blast. The official said it is suspected that the explosion took place due to accumulation of gases in the drain under the building. (Pic Source-Internet)
