Nainital : Digital Library to be Established in District Bar

Nainital: Lawyers of the District Bar Association have received a significant gift. At the annual meeting of the Bar Association’s executive committee, a proposal for the establishment of a digital library for the benefit of lawyers was unanimously passed. Several important decisions regarding facilities for lawyers were taken at the general assembly held on Tuesday, including the establishment of a digital library and the construction of chambers. Bar Association President Bhagwat Prasad and Secretary Deepak Ruwali addressed the general assembly, stating that the digital library would be established soon. Senior lawyers also pledged their support for the digital library. Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar Lok Sabha MP Ajay Bhatt sanctioned ₹5 lakh from his MP fund for the construction of lawyers’ chambers. The Bar Association and the lawyers expressed their gratitude to the MP.
In the meeting, the Bar Association president reiterated the demand for the establishment of new courts in Nainital. Secretary Deepak Ruwali said that the digital library would provide lawyers with modern legal information and research facilities.
