Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday inaugurated 6 schemes worth 3.67 crores and laid the foundation stone of 17 schemes worth 34.21 crores in development block of Bhimtal, Okhalkanda Khansyu. The Chief Minister uplifted Badaun Government Inter College, gave funds for mobile tower in Kakod, to take forward social audit work in development blocks, Devlidhar-Tunnel Motor Road, Okhalduga-Kudgaon Motor Road, Devidhar-Tunnel Motor Road in the name of Late Tararam Kavi. Announced to keep it and make available funds for the construction work of Khansyu Sub Health Center.
Among the schemes inaugurated by Chief Minister Dhami in Okhalkanda of Nainital assembly constituency, Bhimtal, under the state plan, 60 meters on Ladhia river near village Kaidagaon in Okhalkanda. Among the schemes which were laid by the Chief Minister, under the state plan, the work of improvement and strengthening of Chaurekh-Mallidini motor road in Bhimtal assembly constituency of Nainital district cost Rs 312 lakh, construction cost of motor road from Chhidakhan to high school Talli Pokhari in development block Okhalkanda. 283 lakh, Rikhakot drinking water scheme cost 90.32 lakh in development block Okhalkanda, Pashyan drinking water scheme cost 119.39, Dhana drinking water scheme cost 112.73 lakh, Kalaagar majority village pumping drinking water scheme cost 2370.22 lakh, Atal Uttrakhand R.E.K. Construction of basketball court for national level sports in Patlot Okhalkanda and establishment of Smart Math Lab Iglis Lab (Chief Minister Migration Prevention Scheme) cost 27 lakhs, development of one class room of Government Primary School, Matela development block, Okhalkanda as smart class ( Chief Minister Migration Prevention Scheme) cost 6.50 lakh, under the head of District Mineral Foundation, the construction work of bridge in Dhamdwari river of Kalaagar village of Okhalkanda block cost 6 lakh, Anrodi drinking water scheme cost 19.38 lakh, Kalagarhi drinking water scheme cost 14.65 lakh, Majuli of development block Dhari – CC construction work cost 7.50 lakh in Jaulpokhara, Anarpa, Kachlakot to Padal motor road repair in village assembly Kachalakot of Okhalkanda block, check dam wall construction work cost 20 lakh, culvert construction work cost in Gadhre going to Inter College of Gram Sabha Pashya of Okhalkanda 6 lakh, culvert construction work in main river of Sunakia Gram Sabha of development block Dhari cost 8 lakh, culvert construction work cost 8 lakh in Kukad Gad river of Dalkanya Gram Sabha of Okhalkanda block. The foundation stone of schemes worth Rs 34.21 crore is included with the cost of Rs 10 lakh to renovate Gadkha motorway in Sunkia, Gram Sabha of Tha Vikas Khand Dhari.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while addressing the public meeting, said that it is a challenge for us to reach the benefits of development, not politics, to the last person standing in the last row of the society. He said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has also said that the third decade of the 21st century will be the decade of Uttarakhand. Not only this, when our state will be celebrating the silver jubilee of its foundation day, then the Prime Minister has given the vision of the state to be an excellent and ideal state of the country in all fields.
He said that ideas are being taken from intellectuals to make the state excellent and ideal. Bodhisattva series is being organized for the consideration of intellectuals. In the year 2025, the state became an excellent and leading state in the fields of education, medicine, industry, horticulture, agriculture and employment etc., for which blue print of development is being prepared from the departments along with the suggestions of intellectuals. He said that Vikas Yatra is not an individual journey, it is a collective journey. Everyone will have to work together to give wings to the youth dreams of a young state. He said that the government is working as an ally of the farmers. All-round development of the area is taking place, today work of 37 crore 87 lakh has been inaugurated and foundation stone has been laid. Which will benefit the people of the area. He said that whatever announcements he has made during his five-month tenure, he has also brought them to the ground. Development of every section is being done, this is also the goal of the government. Home stay will be promoted in the state, which will prove to be a milestone in the field of self-employment and tourism.
The Chief Minister said that under Ayushman Bharat scheme, treatment of up to five lakhs has been done to every person and the recruitment process has been started for twenty four thousand posts. He said that the government is giving an incentive of Rs 50,000 to the youth who have passed the pre-examination of IAS, IPS, CDS, PCS and other services for further preparation. He said that soon the satellite center of AIIMS will be opened in Kumaon. The State Government, with the help of the Central Government, is working on laying a network of roads and railway lines in the state. He said that Mukhyamantri Vatsalya Yojana, Mahalaxmi Kit Yojana, organizing self-employment fairs through a single window, releasing an amount of 119 crores for women self-employment as well as in view of the bad state of tourism in Corona, a package of 200 crores for the affected. has given. He said that instructions have been given to the officers to expedite the works of the divine calamity that came in the last month.
The Chief Minister said that self-help groups should move forward rapidly and efforts have been made to provide maximum opportunities for employment and self-employment. He said that if need be, the prescribed limit of interest-free funds for self-help groups would be increased.On this occasion, the Chief Minister also inspected the exhibition stalls put up by various departments and self-help groups and appreciated their products.
Bhimtal MLA Ram Singh Kaida while welcoming all the guests said that the state is making all-round development under the leadership of young Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Development works worth crores have been done and are being done in Okhalkada area also. He said that about 17 roads have been approved by the Chief Minister under PMGSY scheme in the area.
