Mumbai: Actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who was going abroad for her show, has been stopped at the Mumbai airport. Jacqueline was stopped from going abroad after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) issued a look out notice against her.
A case is registered against Jacqueline in the Enforcement Directorate in Delhi. Jacqueline’s name has surfaced in the Sukesh Chandrasekhar case. The ED has issued a look out circular against her in the recovery case of two hundred crore rupees, after which the officials stopped her at the airport. She was going for a show outside the country. She is Srilankan residents works in bollywood.
The ED has said in its chargesheet that Sukesh Chandrashekhar has claimed that the thug had sent expensive gifts worth more than Rs 10 crore to Jacqueline Fernandez. The ED, in its first chargesheet, had named Sukesh Chandrasekhar as the main accused in the extortion case of Rs 200 crore. Apart from Jacqueline, the name of dancer Nora Fatehi is also included in the chargesheet.
A Delhi court on Saturday took cognizance of the Enforcement Directorate’s chargesheet against alleged swindler Sukesh Chandrashekhar, his wife, actress Leena Maria Paul and six others in a money laundering case. Additional Sessions Judge Praveen Singh took notice of the final report and directed the ED to give copies of it to all the accused in the case. The chargesheet has been filed against Chandrashekhar, Paul and Deepak Ramanani, Pradeep Ramanani, Kamlesh Kothari and Avtar Singh Kochhar among others. All the accused are presently in judicial custody. The next hearing will be on December 23.
