Mumbai: In the famous lyricist Javed Akhtar defamation case, a Mumbai court has ruled in favor of Kangana Ranaut. Javed Akhtar had sought the issuance of a non-bailable warrant against Kangana Ranaut, which has been rejected by the court.
On Tuesday, the court rejected the demand of Javed Akhtar and gave the next date for hearing. In fact, during a TV interview, Kangana Ranaut had said some things against veteran lyrics writer Javed Akhtar, for which in the year 2020, Javed Akhtar filed a defamation complaint in the Andheri court. Javed had claimed that in June 2020, while talking about the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, Kangana had told Javed to be part of the suicide gang.
According to news agency ANI, ‘The court rejected the demand for issuance of non-bailable warrant against Kangana Ranaut. The next hearing in this matter will be held on February 1 in the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate Court. Let us tell you that this issue going on between Kangana Ranaut and Javed Akhtar is very old and it increased during the lockdown.
Javed Akhtar said that after this he was getting all the threatening phone calls and messages. Not only this, he was also trolled a lot on social media. This has defamed him.
