Kathmandu: Helicopter Carrying Dead Body Crashes in Nepal

Kathmandu: (Thina Gurung) A helicopter transporting a dead body has crashed in Nepal, leaving one person injured. The incident occurred on Wednesday in eastern Nepal. The helicopter crashed in Khotang District at approximately 11:51 AM. The aircraft was carrying a deceased person and five passengers; one of the passengers sustained injuries. A video of the incident is also going viral. The accident took place during the landing process. The crash occurred while an Air Dynasty helicopter was attempting to land in a field. Rekha Kandel, the Chief District Officer of Khotang District, told the media, “The helicopter crashed while landing in a field. It was carrying a deceased person and had arrived from Kathmandu. There are no reports of any fatalities.”
