Gujarat : Former Saurashtra Cricketer Ambapratsingh Jadeja dies due to Covid

Rajkot : Former Saurashtra Cricketer Ambaprata Singhji Jadeja died on Tuesday due to covid-19 infection. He was 69 years old.

Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) gave this information. In a statement issued here, the SCA said, “Everyone in the Saurashtra Cricket Association is in mourning on the passing away of former Saurashtra cricketer Ambapratapsinhji Jadeja.

He passed away in Valsad early today while battling COVID-19. Jadeja, a resident of Jamnagar, was a medium pace fast bowler and a right-handed batsman. He played eight matches in the Ranji Trophy for Saurashtra. He was a retired DSP of Gujarat Police.
