Gorakhpur : Thai Woman shot dead by three miscreants in front of her daughter

Gorakhpur : A 37-year-old woman was shot dead by three miscreants in Badhalganj area of Gorakhpur district on Monday.
Police said that three people knocked on the door of the house of Pushpa Yadav, wife of late Dayanand Yadav, at around 12 in the morning at Sidhupar in Badhalganj area and they shot and killed her. Pushpa Yadav’s elder daughter Kumari Anuj Yadav complained to the police that two of the three men with masks on their faces entered her house and shot her mother. After the picture was captured in the CCTV, the police have started searching for the three. The woman’s husband used to do business in Thailand and had died of a heart attack four years ago and was now looking after the business in Thailand. She had come to her ancestral home in Gorakhpur during the Corona wave.
Daughter Anuj told the police that her mother was murdered when she was in school with her sister Pooja and brother Hrithik. She has suspected the hand of his uncle (father’s brother) in the murder of his mother due to some property dispute. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against seven people including three unidentified persons.
Additional Superintendent of Police South Arun Kumar Singh said that the picture of the attackers is captured on CCTV in which they are seen going on a motorcycle but their face is covered with a mask. Police is looking for them and has started investigation into the matter. Police said that the woman has four children, Kumari Anuj (16), Pooja (14), Hrithik (13) and Preeti (10).
