Derhadun A delegation of farmers of the state under the leadership of Minister Swami Yatheeswaranand expressed gratitude to the CM Dhami
Dehradun: On Tuesday, a delegation of farmers of the state under the leadership of Cabinet Minister Swami Yatheeswaranand expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister in the Chief Sevak Sadan located at the Chief Minister’s residence for increasing the sugarcane price by the Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya was also present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the price of early varieties of sugarcane has been increased to Rs 355 per quintal and that of common varieties to Rs 345 per quintal. Due to which lakhs of farmers of the state will be benefited. The Chief Minister said that thousands of farmers would be directly benefited by the launch of Sitarganj Kisan Sahakari Mill. In the future, there will also be production of ethanol and electricity. The Chief Minister said that being from a farmer’s family, I know very well the pain of farmers. Farmers are our food providers. Whatever is possible in the interest of the farmers, those decisions will be taken.
The Chief Minister said that the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been that the farmers of the country should be financially empowered. Many schemes are being run by the central government for the farmers. Farmers are being given benefits of soil health card, Kisan Samman Nidhi and many schemes. Following the footsteps of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, development works are being carried forward in the state. Efforts are being made to make Uttarakhand the leading state of the country by 2025.
Cabinet Minister Swami Yatheeswaranand said that the Chief Minister has taken the decision to increase the sugarcane price. This is a commendable work for the sugarcane farmers of the state. He expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister on behalf of the farmers of the state. Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya said that the Chief Minister has taken a big decision in the interest of sugarcane farmers. With this decision, a smile is visible on the faces of the farmers.
