Delhi: Vice Admiral R Hari Kumar will be the next Indian Navy Chief

New Delhi: The Defense Ministry has announced that Vice Admiral R Hari Kumar will be the next Navy Chief. Vice Admiral Kumar is currently the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Naval Command. He will take over the command of the Navy on November 30 after the current Chief of the Navy, Admiral Karambir Singh, retires. “The government has appointed Vice Admiral R Hari Kumar, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Naval Command as the next Navy Chief,” the ministry said in a statement. This order will come into effect from noon on 30 November.
