Delhi: AAP councilor Geeta Rawat arrested for demanding bribe of 20 thousand rupees, used to take bribe through ‘private man’

Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councilor Geeta Rawat and another ‘private person’ have been arrested by the CBI on charges of demanding bribe. The arrested Aam Aadmi Party’s Geeta Rawat is a councilor of East Delhi Municipal Corporation. This area comes under the assembly constituency of Delhi’s Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, Patparganj. He had asked for this bribe from a person for allowing seamless construction of roof on the house. The man caught with Geeta Rawat is accused of taking bribe for the AAP councillor. Through this person you used to go to the counselor for money.

AAP councilor Geeta Rawat is a member of East Delhi Municipal Corporation from Vinod Nagar ward from Patparganj, the assembly constituency of Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia.
