Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Ganeshpur in Naya village of Dehradun on Sunday afternoon and participated in the program organized on the death anniversary of late Gajendra Singh Bisht, martyr Ashok Chakra winner in 26/11 attack. The Chief Minister paid homage to the martyr Gajendra Bisht by garlanding him. In the program, the Chief Minister honored the families and heroes of Kargil martyrs and brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives on the border.

Addressing the program, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that he is honored to honor the families of martyrs and the brave hearts who have made supreme sacrifices for the country. The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand is a military-dominated state, its valor and valor are discussed not only in the country but in the world. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, the morale of the soldiers is increasing, while on one hand the Central Government has provided a great relief to lakhs of ex-servicemen by giving One Rank One Pension, while on the other hand the facilities provided to the soldiers have also increased. The Chief Minister said that “Shaheed Samman Yatra” is being organized in the honor of martyr soldiers in the state, this yatra will be culminated in the grand military Dham being built in Purukul village of Dehradun.

Chief Minister Dhami said that the state government is working in every field. In the last 4 months, the government started the recruitment process for 24000 posts, in which the process has been completed for 12000 posts so far. Apart from this, an incentive of Rs 50,000 is being given to the talented youth preparing for NDA/CDS in the state for the preparation of mains exam, besides the fee for all competitive examinations has been waived till March 2022.

Chief Minister Dhami said that the government is paying attention to every section of the employees. The government has also increased the honorarium of Panchayat representatives, Anganwadi, Asha workers and Upanal employees. The Chief Minister said that the year 2025 is very important for Uttarakhand, the Bodhisattva program series is being run by the government in which experts of various fields. A plan is being made to take the state forward and make it the number one state of the country by 2025.

During this, the Chief Minister announced to upgrade the health center at Ganeshpur in the new village and to build a mini stadium at Ganeshpur. Sahaspur MLA Sahdev Pundir, ex-servicemen and a large number of local people were present in the program.
