Dehradun Police succeeded in returning 2 girls from Bihar and Jharkhand to their home

Dehradun: Under Operation Smile, Dehradun Police succeeded in returning 2 girls from Bihar and Jharkhand to their home. These girls were in Balika Niketan Kedarpuram, Dehradun for one year. When the police contacted their families, they were unable to come to Dehradun due to financial constraints. The Anti Human Trafficking Unit safely presented the girls before the Child Welfare Committee of their home state, where after proper counseling they will be handed over to their families.
