Dehradun: A new SOP has been issued by the government regarding the new variant of Corona, Omicron. With the government’s decision to tighten, Covid restrictions have been started again in the state. This system will come into effect from December 1. According to the SOP issued by Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu. Now random checks will be done at borders, railway stations, airports, crowded places and tourist places to prevent the new form of corona from Omicron.

Students studying in all universities, colleges, medical colleges, engineering institutes, nursing colleges, agriculture and technology institutes of the state will be tested for corona. In universities and colleges, there will be a covid test of students and if a student or teacher comes positive, they will be compulsorily treated under the covid protocol.

There will also be a Covid investigation of all the front line workers of the state. Protection of vulnerable persons is necessary: ​​Persons above 65 years of age will be allowed to step out of the house only for essential and health-related reasons. Pregnant and lactating women and those who are already sick will also be allowed to step out of the house for health reasons and only if necessary.
