Dehradun : More than one and a half lakh people are expected to attend the PM’s rally tomorrow

New Delhi : BJP in Uttarakhand is working hard to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Dehradun a success on Saturday. Around 1.5 lakh people are expected to attend the rally along with party workers. From this rally, BJP’s campaign for Uttarakhand assembly elections will start. Uttarakhand elections will be held in February-March next year along with Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Manipur and Goa. A party leader said that over 1.5 lakh people are expected to attend the rally from across the state.
He said, “Senior leaders and workers are working overtime to ensure the presence of huge crowd during Prime Minister Modi’s rally on December 4. It will be one of the biggest rallies in the state and it will officially be the BJP’s Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly. Will start the election campaign.” The BJP has also asked all its booth level workers to attend the rally. “Lakhs of common people along with our workers and leaders will attend the prime minister’s rally. It will be historic with the presence of over 1.5 lakh people,” the leader said.
Last week, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami called on BJP President JP Nadda, party’s National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santosh and state election in-charge Prahlad Joshi discussed the Prime Minister’s visit and public meeting. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself has gone several times to see the rally site. In the nearby districts of Rishikesh, Pauri, Tehri, meetings of BJP leaders are going on with workers, office bearers.
During his visit to Dehradun, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several projects worth around Rs 18,000 crore. An important focus of the Prime Minister’s visit will be on projects to improve road infrastructure, which will make travel easier and safer, and also boost tourism in the region. This is in line with the Prime Minister’s vision to boost connectivity in areas that were once considered remote.
