Dehradun: A minor girl was raped by a minor boy in the orphanage in capital. This socking Incident happened at Bal Vanitha Ashram (Orphanage) situated at tilak road. Minor girl found out after deteriorating health.
A case of raping a minor has come to light in Shraddhanand Bal Vanitha Ashram located on Tilak Road. The accused is also said to be a minor and lives in the same ashram. The curtain was raised from this incident when the minor became five months pregnant. When her health got deteriorated, the ashram management got her medically examined. After this, Sudhir Gulati, the head of the organization that runs the ashram, gave a complaint to the police. Based on which a case was registered against the accused juvenile on Monday. The medical of the teenager and the girl child is being done. Soon the magisterial statements of both will be recorded.
Inspector KC Bhatt posted in the city Kotwali told that at present 30 girls and 20 students are living in the ashram. The boys and girls live in separate hostels, but their meals are arranged together. During this, the closeness between a boy teenager and a girl teenager increased. Taking advantage of this, the teenager raped the girl. The girl’s health was deteriorating for some days. Girl informed the hostel warden about this. On this, when the ashram management got the girl medically examined, it was found that she was pregnant. Both boy and girl study in class 12th. Girl has been living in the ashram for the last 12 years and boy for 10 years. Both are studying in the ashram itself.
According to the facts that have come to the fore in the preliminary investigation of the police, the teenager had raped the teenager in June. Then due to the second wave of Corona and the Covid curfew, the staff in the ashram was less than normal days. It is being told that during this time the girl was taken to a hall of the juvenile ashram and raped her there. Police is investigating the matter.
