Dehradun: CM Dhami inaugurated the revitalization work of ‘Uttara’ State Emporium and Gramin Haat Bazar at Ranipokhari
Rani Pokhri/Dehadun : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday inaugurated the revitalization work of ‘Uttara’ State Emporium and Gramin Haat Bazar at Ranipokhari. In which the construction of Uttara State Emporium at a cost of 161.47 lakh, the restoration work of Rural Haat Bazar at a cost of 138.00 lakh was inaugurated.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also distributed checks of grant money to the groups under the Women Self Help Group Empowerment Scheme. Cabinet Minister Yatheeswaranand and former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat were also present on the occasion.Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that people have got a market for their local products with the construction of ‘Uttara’ State Emporium. Continuous efforts are being made by the state government to promote local products. With this, where the livelihood of the people will increase, the local products of Uttarakhand will get recognition at the national and international level. Chief Minister said that continuous efforts are being made to make women strong and self-reliant in the state. Self-help groups are being promoted. For the all-round development of the society, along with men, women also need to be financially empowered. During the Corona period, our sisters faced many obstacles in working. To reduce their problems, the state government has given a relief package of Rs 119 crore to self-help groups and organizations.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced on this occasion that underground work of Jheelwala canal and road would be done in Gram Sabha Dandi. A bridge will be constructed between Ghamandpur-Jeevanwala. Internal roads will be constructed in Souda Siroli. Primary health centers and stations will be upgraded. 02 km road will be constructed from Prakash Pant Marg to Thana Bhogpur in Kudiyal Gram Panchayat. The Chief Minister directed to send the report to the Deputy Collector after assessing the damage caused by the fire in Dharmendra Rawat’s poultry farm under the area. Cabinet Minister Swami Yatheeswaranand said that commendable efforts are being made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in the direction of women empowerment. Efforts are being made to provide financial strength to the mothers and sisters associated with women self-help groups and organizations. Efforts have been made to provide relief to the people in every area during the Corona period.
Former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that local products will be promoted by the creation of ‘Uttara’ State Emporium. This should be publicized on a wide scale. The demand for local products of Uttarakhand is increasing rapidly. ‘Uttara’ State Emporium will prove to be a good platform for this.
On this occasion, former status minister Karan Bora, Brij Bhushan Gairola, Chief Development Officer Dehradun, Nitika Khandelwal, local public representatives and concerned officers were also present.
