  • The Chief Minister gets energy for the entire state from the Secretariat

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the entire state gets energy from the Secretariat. It is also the responsibility of the Secretariat to promptly implement the decisions related to public interest to be taken by the State Government. He said that with the commitment towards the interests of the employees by the State Government, their problems are also being resolved. He understands the problems of the personnel of other departments including the State Secretariat. Many pending cases including discrepancies regarding golden cards of employees have been resolved. He said that apart from being the chief servant of the state, he also considers himself a brother and companion of the Secretariat personnel, as the Secretariat has also contributed a lot to him in understanding the secretariat procedures. On Monday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was felicitated by the Secretariat Association in the Secretariat courtyard. In his address, the Chief Minister said that the way for mutual dialogue with various personnel organizations including the Secretariat has been paved for redressal of their problems. On this occasion, the Chief Minister, like Uttar Pradesh, allowed house rent allowance to both of the husband and wife while serving in the state of Uttarakhand. To make arrangements for collection of pathology samples in the allopathic dispensary set up in the secretariat premises and to upgrade the dispensary to provide state-of-the-art facilities for medical treatment. On the demand to declare the category of the post of Review Officer and Additional Private Secretary as Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) of Group ‘C’, it was agreed to decide to send the proposal along with the departmental recommendation to the Personnel Department accordingly.

Along with this, the Chief Minister sent proposals for the construction of a new building for the creche center in the Secretariat premises to the State Property Department. It was also agreed to make the payment of medical claims pending in the sections of the Secretariat Administration Department immediately from January 01, 2021 due to the shortcomings of the Golden Card and to provide cashless AYUSH medical facilities to the employees and pensioners with the Golden Card. Along with this, the Chief Minister assured that a way would be found to solve the various problems of the Secretariat Union. The Chief Minister said that problems like discrepancies in golden card and relaxation in promotion have been resolved. Not only the country but also the economic activities of the world have been affected due to the corona pandemic. Despite this, decisions have been taken by the state government in the larger interest of the employees. In the future, a way out will be found to solve the problems. He said that our government is working as a partner and ally of all. For the collective interest of all, more than 500 announcements have been made by them so far, for which financial approval has also been issued. The Chief Minister said that the overall development of the state is the collective responsibility of all of us. With the collective efforts of everyone, we will be able to take the state to the destination of holistic development. mThe Chief Minister said that being the chief servant of the state, every moment of him is dedicated for the welfare and service of 1.25 crore people of the state. The Chief Minister said that while taking initiative in the direction of resolving the cases of discrepancy in wages of the employees, it was decided to postpone the Devasthanam Board with the confidence of the collective. Our democracy is the largest democracy in the world which believes in collectivism. In our true democracy, every person can speak his mind through every medium. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has love for Uttarakhand. He has described the third decade of the 21st century as the decade of Uttarakhand. Not only this, it is the vision of the Prime Minister that in 2025, when Uttarakhand is celebrating its silver jubilee year, then the state should be recognized as the leading state of the country in terms of overall development. The Chief Minister said that we will be successful in realizing the vision of the Prime Minister only when we all become cooperative in the development of the state with a sense of collectiveness.

On this occasion, the President of Secretariat Association, Shri Deepak Joshi apprised the Chief Minister about the various problems of the personnel and honored them by giving them a memento. Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman, Union Vice President Sunil Lakheda, General Secretary Vimal Joshi, Geeta Kol, Chandan Bisht, Puneet Gusain and a large number of Secretariat employees were present in the program. The program was conducted by the Deputy Secretary done by J.P.Maikhuri
