Dehradun: 2 Bangladeshi women Yasmin and Rashida Begum arrested

• Doon Police arrested 2 Bangladeshi women illegally residing in Dehradun due to the precise strategy of SSP Dehradun
• Due to the effective action being taken continuously under Operation Kalanemi being run under the direction of SSP Doon, two women illegally residing in Patel Nagar area were caught by Doon Police
• Both the Bangladeshi women were caught during the intensive checking/verification campaign run by the joint team of Police, LIU and SOG
• Legal action will be taken against both the accused as per the rules
• Earlier also, 05 illegal Bangladeshi citizens were arrested and deported under Operation Kalanemi
• A case has been registered against 7 Bangladeshi citizens and they have been sent to jail

Dehradun; Senior Superintendent of Police Dehradun has directed all the subordinates to conduct intensive verification campaigns in their respective police station areas/effective checking campaigns under Operation Kalanemi against fake babas who play with the sentiments of people in the name of religion and cheat people by using fake disguises and luring them with fear or greed. In compliance with the instructions, effective campaigns are being continuously conducted under Operation Kalanemi in all the police station areas of the district and effective legal action is being taken against such accused.

In the same sequence, during the effective checking campaign being conducted by the joint team of local police, LIU and SOG under Kotwali Patel Nagar area, 2 suspicious women were found from Pooja Vihar Chandrabani area, after thorough interrogation and search, it came to light that both the women were citizens of Bangladesh. Both the women accepted illegally entering the Indian border from the West Bengal border. Bangladeshi identity card and family register details were recovered from both the women, on the basis of which legal action is being taken to deport both illegal Bangladeshi women to Bangladesh as per rules.

Taking effective action on the instructions of SSP Dehradun under Operation Kalanemi, earlier also 05 Bangladeshi citizens residing illegally in Dehradun were arrested and deported and 07 Bangladeshi citizens were booked and sent to jail. Action will be taken against the two arrested Bangladeshi women citizens as per rules and they will be deported.

1- Yasmin daughter of Mohammad Tohid Mian resident of house/holding Shahid Mia Colony, village/street Ter Ratan PO Sylhet Sadar, Sylhet Municipal Corporation Sylhet, Bangladesh.

2- Rashida Begum daughter of Mohammad Ullah resident of village Ramon police station and district Chattogram Bangladesh
