Death toll in terrorist attack in Russia’s Dagestan rises to 21


The death toll in a terrorist attack in Russia’s southern region of Dagestan has risen to 21 after a police officer injured in the attack died of his injuries. In the attacks on Sunday, terrorists targeted a church and a synagogue and opened fire on police in the cities of Derbent and Makhachkala, a Muslim-majority region in the North Caucasus. The attack is the deadliest attack in Russia since March.
