Amritsar : Nigerian B.Tech students committed suicide in GNDU in Amritsar. He was Computer B.Tech students in GNDU, Amritsar, administration have given information to the concerned embassy.
A Nigerian student has committed suicide in the foreign hostel of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. After the information, the police and the university administration reached the spot and brought down the dead body hanging from the fan. The death of the student has been informed to the Embassy. After getting the information from there, the post-mortem of the dead body will be done.
Alex, a Nigerian resident, was at GNDU’s Foreign Students Hostel. When his friends reached there on Sunday, the door of the room was closed. He knocked on the door, but Alex didn’t respond from inside. The University Security Department was informed about this. Security officer and hostel administration reached the spot and opened the door. Inside was Alex’s body hanging from the fan. After the information, the police reached the spot and investigated and took the dead body in possession and sent it to the hospital.
Being a foreign student, the post-mortem of Alex could not be done. At present, the Embassy of Nigeria has been informed about Alex’s death. His family has also been informed. Alex’s post-mortem will be done only after the arrival of a student of the family or permission from the Embassy.
