Almora : A team led by Ira Singhal, senior IAS and Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Education, Government of India, conducted a site inspection of PM Shri Atal Utkrisht Government Inter College, Almora. On reaching the school, Principal Rajesh Bisht welcomed the team and the NCC cadets gave a guard of honour. The team observed Atal Tinkering Lab, Library, Science and IT Lab, Eco Club, Rain Water Harvesting, Vermi Compost, TLM Park, cleanliness and teaching-learning in the classrooms. Ira Singhal appreciated the work being done in the school under PM Shri Scheme and wished for excellent performance in the future. DD Sharma and Barkha Chaurasia were also present in the inspection.
On Tuesday, Ms. Ira Singhal (IAS), Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Education and Literacy, Government of India, led D.D. Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Regional Office, Patna Division, and Ms. Barkha, Advisor, and State Coordinator, inspected the activities organized under the PM Shri scheme at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Almora. The school’s Principal, Meena Rana, welcomed the inspection team with a Scout Guide color party. Following this, the primary school students performed a traditional welcome and a puppet show.
The students presented a captivating welcome song, dance, and a short play. During the inspection, the officials gathered necessary information from the students regarding the TLM exhibition organized at the school, which included projects on various subjects, demonstrations of activities organized during Bagless Day, and robotics activities. On this occasion, Ms. Ira Singhal encouraged the students to overcome their weaknesses in life and achieve success through hard work.
Assistant Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Dehradun Division, Surjeet Singh, and Principal-in-Charge, PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Saurkhand, Vedprakash Sharma, were also present during the inspection.District Education Officer Chandan Singh Bisht, Block Education Officer Ravi Mehra, and District Coordinators Pradeep Singh Bisht and Neeraj Joshi were also present.The inspection team expressed satisfaction with the various activities being carried out in the school under the PM Shri scheme.Principal Meena Rana expressed her gratitude to the inspection team and other officials present.
