UAE : Grand Hindu Temple built in Abu Dhabi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the temple

Abu Dhabi: A grand Hindu temple is ready in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated this temple. This is the first Hindu temple built in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the Muslim country UAE.

BAPS Temple is the largest temple in the Gulf region spread over a large area with stone architecture. This temple is spread over about 27 acres of land. In this, the temple has been built in an area of more than 13 acres. A parking area has been created on the remaining land for the convenience of the devotees coming to the temple. The construction of this temple was started in 2019.Marble has been used to enhance the grandeur of the temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan. The grandeur of the temple can be gauged from its photographs. Carved and carved stones have been used in the temple. Statues of Hindu gods and goddesses have been carved on them. Swami Akshar Vatsalya Das, head of the temple construction and architect department, told Dainik Bhaskar that on the orders of the Maharaja, the work of searching for land for the temple started in 2012. Then we proposed two-three pieces of land to the President of Abu Dhabi and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

No carving work has been done in the temple being built in Abu Dhabi. All the more than ten thousand statues and other infrastructures have been built in Sirohi and Dungarpur districts of Rajasthan in India. BAPS has a many years old carving workshop here. Thousands of artisans work in these workshops.
