Raiwala: Wednesday was a big day for Uttarakhand. Especially if we talk about health care. Infant Intensive Care Ward i.e. NICU started in Shri Satya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital…Free service of fetal echo screening for unborn babies will start soon. Former Indian cricket team captain Padmabhushan Sunil Gavaskar and SBI Card MD Abhijeet Chakraborty inaugurated the 5-bed pediatric intensive care ward (NICU).

Shri Satya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital located at Raiwala is touching new dimensions in the field of medicine/health care. In this hospital located in Raiwala, high-tech machines and a team of senior expert doctors are providing better treatment and other facilities free of cost to the pregnant women undergoing treatment. On Wednesday, a 5-bed pediatric intensive care ward along with a 30-bed women’s medical facility was inaugurated in the hospital. Former Indian cricket team captain Padmabhushan Sunil Gavaskar who is legend all time and SBI Card MD Abhijeet Chakraborty formally inaugurated the five-bed pediatric intensive care unit in the hospital. During this, they said that getting the opportunity to serve the needy mother and child is no less than a virtue. He told that Satya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital is doing commendable work in the field of human services. During this, Trust Chairman C. Srinivas said that by expanding the hospital, it is serving pregnant women with the recognition of 30 beds and soon the fetus will be delivered. Free service of fetal echo screening is also being started to check the heart condition of children. Abhijit Chakraborty, MD and CEO of State Bank of India Card, while praising the hospital, said that the SBI Card family is feeling proud to get the opportunity to serve humanity with Sri Satya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital. Chief physician Dr. Pranati Das gave information about the activities of the hospital.

Chief Guest Former Indian Cricket Team Captain Padma Bhushan Sunil Gavaskar, SBI Card Managing Director Abhijit Chakraborty, Sri Satya Sai Health and Education Trust Chairman C Srinivas, Sri Satya Sai University for Human Excellence Chancellor B Narasimha Murthy, SBI CPO Anita Richard Seema Tiwari, CSR Head, Santumayra, SBI Card, honored the babies born in the hospital and the children who recovered after getting free heart treatment in Palwal hospital and presented gifts. During this, Chief Doctor of the hospital Dr. Pranati Das, Trust Officer Gaurav Bhardwaj, Professor SN Tiwari, Dr. Amita Pundir, HR Ritu Thapliyal, Usha Raturi, Bhupati Mishra, PRO Chitraveer Chettri, Anshul Tyagi from Raiwala and other staff were present.
