Rudrapur : Today, under the leadership of the Central and State Government, women are getting priority in every field these words were of Kusum Kandwal, Chairperson of Uttarakhand State Women Commission in Rudrapur. She was addressing in a programme organsed in Rudrapur.
On Friday, In the program Nari Shakti Samman was organized at the Municipal Corporation Auditorium of Rudrapur, the headquarters of district Udhamsingh Nagar. During this, The baby shower of pregnant women was organized. Kusum Kandwal, Chairperson of Uttarakhand State Women Commission as the chief guest at the programe. During the programme Mahalakshmi kit was distributed to 5 women on behalf of the state government. And on this occasion, Annaprashan was also given to 6 babies. In the program, five women BLOs were honored for their excellent work by Uttarakhand State Women Commission Chairperson Kusum Kandwal and all the mothers present in the program were also given an oath to vote impartially and without greed.
While being the chief guest in the program, Commission Chairperson Kusum Kandwal said that today, under the leadership of the Central and State Government, women are getting priority in every field. Today the women power of our state is becoming self-reliant. He said that today under the leadership of the Honorable Prime Minister, women are hoisting the flag in every field and the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami is very sensitive towards the safety and empowerment of women. Addressing to present, She said that today it is a matter of pride that women are in key positions in the state. Kandwal expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister of the state and the central leadership on UCC and while making women aware about it, said that this law will work to protect women’s safety and women’s interests and the Muslim sisters of the state will get the maximum benefit from it. Like other women, they will get their rights and entitlements and will not have to face torture like triple talaq. They will get equal rights.
At the same time, Chairperson of the Commission, Kusum Kandwal said that we mothers will also have to see how our children are connected to our culture and values. They will have to be taught about our culture and values because if today’s youth is healthy then only they will be educated and will also be self-reliant. All this is possible only through rituals.
