Rishikesh: Under the proposed conference program of G-20 countries, a tour program of the representatives of the member countries is proposed in Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Regarding the preparations for the programme, District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Chauhan took a meeting of the concerned officials at the camp office Laxmanjhula.
In the meeting, the District Magistrate of Pauri Dr. Ashish Chauhan directed the officials to make necessary preparations related to the program by forming teams regarding electricity, drinking water, toilets, beautification etc. with a view to hosting the members of G-20 countries. District Magistrate proposed program Street lights at the program venue, Parmarth Niketan, ambulances for requirement, road improvement, as well as asked the concerned officers to prepare a framework for other necessary actions. During this, he instructed all the teams to submit reports of deficiencies found while inspecting them. After this, he inspected the Aarti Sthal in Parmarth Niketan, the heritage route from Janaki Pul to Parmarth Ashram, including VVIP rooms, food rooms, Yoga Center etc. and gave necessary guidelines to the concerned officials.
Senior Superintendent of Police Shweta Choubey, Chief Development Officer Apoorva Pandey, Deputy Director Rajaji National Park, Kahkasa Naseem, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Praveen Kumar, Chief Education Officer Dr. Anand Bhardwaj and other officers were present on the occasion.
