Rishikesh: In view of the security in view of the third wave of covid 19, entry in AIIMS, Rishikesh campus without a mask has been prohibited. With this, the same patients and attendants will be able to enter the hospital who have applied double dose of covid vaccine.
The AIIMS administration has taken precautionary steps in view of the increasing number of patients due to the third web of corona virus. According to the instructions issued by the covid Commander (Hospital Administration) Brigadier Professor UB Mishra, the OPD timings at AIIMS Hospital have now been fixed till 11 am. There will be no OPD registration of any patient after 11 pm. Masks have been made mandatory for patients coming to the hospital, no one will be allowed to enter AIIMS without a mask. Along with this, it has been made mandatory for the patients undergoing treatment here and their relatives to have proof of double dose of covid vaccine. The responsibility of monitoring has been entrusted to the Department of Community and Family Medicine. However, for emergency patients, children below 18 years of age, adolescents and youth, as well as their relatives, a concession has been given in the requirement of double dose covid vaccine. The system of registration counter at gate number-3 of the institute has been restored again. In which a counter has been made for Covid suspected patients.
Along with this, a separate counter has been made for registration for general patients. It has been told that patients and their relatives will be able to enter the hospital from gate number-3. During this, the team of doctors of the CFM department will identify the suspected and normal patients and in the same sequence, the patients will be registered through different counters.
