Rishikesh: BJP has insulted the federal structure in the name of double engine government in Uttarakhand: Rajendra Chaudhary
Manoj Rautela Reports, Rishikesh: Samajwadi Party will contest 70 seats in Uttarakhand. Party’s national spokesperson and former cabinet minister of Uttara Pradesh and now in-charge of Uttarakhand, Rajendra Chaudhary said that candidates will be fielded on all 70 seats in the upcoming assembly elections. During this, he also took a dig at BJP and Congress. Said, both the parties have worked to weaken the democracy, while the SP will work to save democracy as per the Constitution.
State in-charge of Samajwadi Party, Rajendra Chaudhary, while talking to reporters in Rishikesh on Wednesday, said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has insulted the federal structure in the name of double engine government in Uttarakhand. The Prime Minister is behaving against the Indian Constitution and federal structure by repeatedly talking about double engine. He said that the responsibilities of the states and the central government are separately enshrined in the constitution. In such a situation, misleading the public in the name of double engine is an insult to democracy. He said that due to the failure of BJP and Congress in Uttarakhand, the problem of unemployment, inflation, corruption and migration has not been solved. Samajwadi Party will go to the public regarding these issues. He said that the Samajwadi Party has decided to contest all the 70 seats in Uttarakhand. We will provide the right alternative to BJP and Congress to the people of the state. He said that the coming election is also an election to save the Constitution and democracy.
He said that the Samajwadi Party is going to form the government with a thumping majority in Uttar Pradesh. Last time BJP won power from Chal and Prapanch. In the last five years, the state exchequer has been looted in Uttar Pradesh, the general public is upset, the farmers are not getting the fair price for the crops. But, this time the public will give him a strong answer. On asking about creating small district in the uttarkahand he said his party is not against making new districts. Ramesh Chandra Gaur, Advocate and State Spokesperson Atul Yadav, SK Rai, Ashok Grover etc. were present on this occasion.
