Rishikesh: An Important Workshop on Scientific Paper Writing, Sponsored by the USCS and Technology, was Organised in PG College, Senior Educationists Gathered
Rishikesh : On Wednesday, a one-day workshop sponsored by Uttarakhand State Council of Science and Technology was organised at Pandit Lalit Mohan Sharma PG College and organized on the topic “Scientific Paper Writing” under the joint aegis of Medical Lab Technology Department of Shri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University Campus Rishikesh and SPECS, Dehradun.
The chief guest in this workshop was Professor PP Dhyani, Vice Chancellor of Sridev Suman Uttarakhand University. The speaker/resource person of the workshop was Prof. G.S. Rajwar, former Principal Government Post Graduate College Agastyamuni, Dr. Anoop Kumar, Professor, Department of Communication, Cleveland State University, USA, Dr. Sunil Kanthola, Director, Nanda Devi Institute, Dehradun, and Dr. Parul Singhal, Research-Associate Specs, Dehradun.
First of all, all the guests were introduced by the stage operator Safia Hassan and were welcomed by organizing secretary Professor Gulshan Kumar Dhingra and Dr. Brij Mohan Sharma by presenting a sapling to all. After this, all the guests were welcomed by Organizing Secretary Prof. Gulshan Kumar Dhingra and Dr. Brij Mohan Sharma, Organizing Secretary highlighted the purpose and outline of the program and he said that we should learn science from our surroundings. He should learn, on this he gave the example of Tulsi.
The keynote speaker Professor GS Rajwar thanked the organizing committee and said that he gave special tips to the researchers. After this, the chief guest Professor PP Dhyani now highlighted the main points of writing a scientific paper, he said that we should do it with our mind. He said that every researcher should know about the main nuances of his subject. He said that every researcher should have 3 questions in mind before research, how first Plan the research, second how to speak the research, and third how to write the research. With this he congratulated all the organizers and said that the academic environment will be maintained in the university by such programs. In the end, the principal of the university campus, Professor Pankaj Pant said in his remarks that before writing a research paper, the research scholar should understand the work related to science, he stressed on the importance of field work before writing a research paper. In the end, Dr. Preeti Khanduri, Department of Botany proposed a vote of thanks to all the guests.
In the first technical session, speaker Dr. Anoop Kumar explained in detail about the nuances of the hypothesis and literature review, he said that primary data is very important while writing a research paper. In the second lecture, Professor G.S. Rajwar exposed the nuances of research and its meaning and together with the methods of engraved the research paper on paper and explained the importance of citation and validation during research. He also told about the basic principles of research and plagiarism. In another lecture, Dr. Parul Singhal said that if a good research paper is written on the exact issue, then it will be called a good research paper. She told about many science journals. Made aware of their websites, he also told about many ways to write research papers through online medium.
In the last lecture of the technical session, Dr. Sunil Kanthola told that during the study and research work in every field, the capacity of scholars in critical emergency situations and life saving skills will have to be developed in these situations. Symbols were presented and certificates were distributed to all the participants. Organizing Secretary Prof. Dhingra and Dr. Brijmohan Sharma informed that in this workshop Sri Guru Ram Rai Medical College Dehradun, Swami Ram Himalayan University Jolly Grant, Modern Institute Rishikesh, AIIMS Rishikesh, Dolphin Institute Dehradun, DNA Lab Dehradun and Pandit Lalit Mohan Sharma Campus Rishikesh etc. Out of 100 participants participated. On this occasion the Heads and Professors of the University campus and all the members of Medical Lab Technology were present.
