Former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh’s Punjab Lok Congress (PLC) party has got the election symbol of hockey stick and ball ahead of the Punjab Assembly elections. The PLC, in a tweet, said, “Happy to inform that Punjab Lok Congress has got the party’s emblem – hockey stick and ball. Amarinder Singh formed his own party after he was forced to resign from the post of Chief Minister. After resigning from the post, he left the Congress and formed his own party. Polling for the 117-member Punjab Assembly will be held on February 14, while the counting of votes will take place on March 10.
